The Google +1 button Plugin for Joomla is very similar to Facebook’s ‘Like’ button with respect to purpose and functionality. It allows visitors, to share website content/link with others; in doing so, they are recommending/promoting the website socially.
The idea is, when you +1 something, you are publicly giving your stamp of approval (according to Google). In other words once you +1 something your Google profile — which is required to use this new feature and also the place where you can see all the links that +1 — is attached or associated to the link for search results, ads, and all across the Web.
Options:
* Size of the button: Small, medium, standard, tall;
* Show the counter;
* Language of the button (default: en-US);
* Show the button inside articles, in articles on categories, in articles on the homepage;
* Show the button before de content, after or in both sides.
